It's true. Go look.
I love Christmas break! It's been a blast. My family decided that we were going to catch up on sleep while we didn't have school or a lot of work, but so far I haven't gone to bed before 1:00 a.m. Which I know isn't super late, but it is when the little kids are getting up at 7 or 8. It's pretty much just one big party! And I mean big. There's my huge family plus everyone's friends and even some random neighbors. I like it a lot.
It has snowed a lot at my house. So far it is up past my knees, and it's only the beginning of the snowing season. It's not supposed to snow any more for the rest of my time at home, though. I'm kinda glad. I think A-Jon and I are going to four-wheeling in it later today if we can track one down. Wish us luck!
I haven't taken a ton of pictures, but in the next week or so I hope to take a lot. I'll post them on my facebook for everyone. Yay for pictures! Everyone have a good weekend.

Soft Fleece Blankets and Catching Things on Fire to Stay Warm
Okay, not so much the 'catching things on fire' part. But close! It's freezing outside. This morning Manda and I drove Lin up to the airport and it took us TWO HOURS because of all the snow. Crazy! It was really snowy and slick. But sort of exciting at the same time! Only because I know now that it's officially winter. None of this hot one day, cold the next stuff. I automatically know to put on my boots and coat when I'm on my way.
Apologies for not writing more. You have no idea how many posts I've started and forgotten about, only to not want to write again when I remember.
New favorite TV show! This will make me sound like a nerd... but you have to see it. It's called Robin Hood, put on by BBC, and Jonas Armstrong is in it. Don't know who he is? Look him up! Then put posters of him on your walls! No, I don't watch the show just for him. But I could, and so could you. If you're into that kind of thing (name that song!). Robin Hood has an awesome plot, fantastic characters, and hilarious lines.
End of the semester! Yay! That means no more stressors for another few weeks. I can even do my job at home in my housecoat, bunny slippers, and my hair in curlers. (I'm taking after you, Dad). Not that I constantly put my hair in curlers or often use a housecoat... I say nothing about the bunny slippers.
It's Christmastime! Hooray! Besides the obvious meaning, it also means decorations, gifts, peppermint and happiness! Yay! And, of course, Christmas songs. My favorite one right now is called I Celebrate the Day by Relient K. It's pretty awesome. Christmas also means people are coming home for the first time in a while, like Wil and Logan and Christina. I am definitely looking forward to it.

If I Had a Penny for Everything I loved About You, I Would Have Many Pennies
Updates. Hooray! Mostly this is for you who don't live with me, because those of you who do have heard all this. I give you much love for listening to me! :)
Friday I got in my first car accident. Huzzah! It was just in the parking lot where I live. The car I was driving (Amanda's - I love you!) is mostly okay, but the car I hit needs some fixing. It's drivable, but I hit the rear tire on the driver side, so it doesn't drive very well. It is somewhat of a pain to get taken care of... okay, more than somewhat. But it all works out somehow.
Second story! Our BYU ward Halloween party got shut down by the cops. Yes, it did. We were too loud for all the fine people in Lindon to stand our happiness. It was pretty awesome.
Micheal is really enjoying the MTC! He and his mission companion get along great, and he loves learning how to pray and bear his testimony in Korean. His enthusiasm for it all is so contagious! Nate Guest is being set apart as a missionary tomorrow night and is entering the MTC on Wednesday. Keep both of them in your prayers! Along with Jekka, Chris, Eric, Kyle... The list goes on and on.
"I think they named oranges before they named carrots."
"When Lazarus died, Christ didn't try to dry their tears. He cried with them and loved them."

Look At the Comic Under My Posts!
For real, do. That's for you, Megan and Whitney.
I got a lot done Saturday. Hooray, hooray! Cheers rise for my productiveness! Actually, I could've done a lot more, and I definitely should have. I meant to do more of it today, so of course I ended up taking a nap, eating food, and watching a FREAKY movie! (Everyone else said it wasn't that bad, but my tolerance for terror is very low.) Oh well. I'll suffer for my procrastination later.
Church today was awesome. I love fast and testimony meetings! It's fantastic to hear everyone's testimonies. It really builds mine up. I got the chance to bear my testimony in Relief Society (one of the greatest organizations in the world!). It was short and to the point, and exactly what I needed to hear myself say, if that makes any sense at all. Sometimes Micheal being gone is really hard for me, but I've realized that God knows how I'm feeling and he knows how - and when - to help me. That's pretty much what I said in my testimony. There is nothing better that I could know than that God is there and he knows me personally, even if I'm trying to hide from everyone. He knows it all. And He loves me. And despite everything I have gone through, I've always gotten through it because all He wants is for me to always be happy.
And I totally didn't mean to go off on a gospel tangent there. It's good, though.
So right now I'm supposed to be doing homework. I will, too. Like I always do. ;) There are some friends in the living room right now, though, and I love to hear them talk and argue about TV shows and enjoy themselves. Yes, you guys, I'm listening to you. But only because I can hear you with my door closed.
It was somewhat warm today! I savor these short moments while they last.

'Tis the Season to Get Colder
It's true! It's been cold some days and freezing the next. It can't be winter yet! I hate winter! I want summer again! I don't like having cold fingers and toes and nose. I am not a fan of it at all.
Micheal is off and serving the Lord! After all the goodbyes he was just anxious to walk through those doors and start his new life that he's going to have for two years. He was looking forward to all of it so much. How exciting is that? I love having good friends that are so excited to do what is right. I guess I'll see Micheal again once he gets home! Until then, everyone should write him and let him know how they're doing. His addresses are all on his blog, and I know that he would love to know people were thinking about him. If you need his addresses from me, let me know and I'll try to get them to you.
The sun is always shining, even when you cannot see it.

AHAH!!!!
So yesterday I got two essays in. Hooray! Now I just have to get three more done for next week. Crazy... Maybe I'll get some of it done during conference weekend. But probably not, which means I'm going to have to be proactive on Friday, my mostly day off. Sad day, but oh well! I should get started on one of them because I'm going to talk to one of the professors in a couple days. Wow, I'm good at this game... I should get an award for even thinking about planning when to do my homework.
I talked to someone today from Italy, and we got talking about European food vs. American food, and it got me missing the delicious things I ate in Paris. Their food is so much better than ours! It has much better flavor. Now I'm thinking about going on a study abroad or an internship there. I probably won't go through with it because I would miss being here too much. Yes, I love you! No, I was talking about my cell phone, not you. Stop being so self-centered. Well, okay, I do love you too. More than my phone. That's just all awkward to say I love you, so I tried to avoid the awkwardness, and... it just made it worse. Sorry.
So I was just talking with my roommates, and I realized once again how much fun this is. I love living with girls that like to talk and talk. It's awesome and pointless most of the time, and I am so cool with that! This is my shout-out for girls. Hear, hear!

Incredible
Hooray for the temple!
Micheal and his mom went through the temple last night for the first time. Amanda and I went to the temple to meet them afterward and waited for about an hour, but what better place to wait than the temple, right? It was really nice and peaceful, and I felt very relaxed. The temple is such a wonderful place! Micheal came out and he was glowing. Glowing! He looked happier than I had ever seen him before in the long time that I've known him. And he seemed so full of joy that it just radiated and made me full of joy too. I'm so excited for him!
School is fun. On Tuesday and Wednesday I went on a school field trip and it was a blast! We were just visiting different businesses to see what we can do with our major, but the fun part was the people. I didn't get to know any of them very well, but everyone was still really cool and very spontaneous. I love meeting people at school.
